In this lecture, we'll use some of John Milton's Paradise Lost as an exemplar for Christian Morality, emphasizing Nietzsche's critique of the ressentiment and bad conscience that results from it in order to elucidate Nietzsche's philosophy. By doing this, we can understand wat Nietzsche's genealogy of morals is, why he celebrates the free spirit, and why he hates things like the debasement of life and pity.
