Jean-Marc writes; the first four paintings are inspired by the village of Domme in the Dordogne which is like a nest, a sanctuary of peace and where the joy of living radiates; behind the ramparts is paradise found. All my paintings are made with Old World techniques from the Middle Ages; I make my own oil paints from scratch, I make my own wooden frames/panels and use pure linen.
