This tune likely comes from Ireland. It’s a fun one to jam on and a challenge to play but not impossible! • I’ve played this a lot over the years but never worked thru variations *intentionally*. I learned a lot playing through slowly and thinking about what sounded good, what was musical, what flowed well, and fit the tune all while not straying far from it. In the end, it’s still somewhat improvised in the middle run-thru and I didn’t actually play some of the ideas I had explored in other takes. Such is the nature of music. • Martin D-28v on top.
