Both from the front and the sides we’re getting old Passat vibes, and the fact that you can only get it with 16” wheels doesn’t do it any favours! • However, it’s not all bad! For starters, the single electric motor is good for 156hp, whiles its 61kWh battery pack will also provide you with a claimed range of around 250 miles. Not bad when you consider the price is around £29,500! • Take a step inside and the MG5 has a pretty average design. It’s nothing too special, but at the sub-£30,000 price tag, you can’t really complain! There’s also plenty of room in the back seats so neither big kids nor adults will have trouble fitting in. • So what do you think - if you’re in the market for an affordable EV, would you choose the MG5?
