Meet the Spicebush Swallowtail caterpillar, a master of disguise in the insect world! As it matures, it transforms into a bright colored caterpillar with large, false eye spots that make it look like a small snake, deterring predators with its startling appearance. Found in the eastern United States it feeds on sassafras leaves before turning into a stunning black and blue swallowtail butterfly. • #shorts
