Join my friend Joyce and I for Disney’s reimagined “A Celebration Festival of the Lion King” in Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Although a few popular aspects of this Animal Kingdom “must see” show have yet to return to what it once was prior to the shows closing back in March 2020, this Broadway-style show still delighted the audience celebrating the classic movie, The Lion King. • The show was not only entertaining but at times the performances remained breath-taking. The cast is still talented as ever. Simba still has his mighty roar as he is comes out to the on his float; you still have the stilt walkers, dancers, and the amazing classic soundtrack tunes. Perhaps the most mesmerizing element of the show still remaining is the flame thrower. • Breaking News: The last performance for A Celebration Festival of the Lion King is July 4th in order to prepare for the return of Animal Kingdom’s full “Festival of the Lion King” show.
