Tarahumara – Missions in Mexico

After the Spanish conquest of the 1500s, the Tarahumara scattered throughout the Sierra Madre mountains of Northern Mexico. Today, their beautiful culture continues to thrive. However, animistic tribal traditions can often create in them a sense of fear. • This is why missionaries have gone to them, to present the peace of Jesus.
