I'll share some of my techniques and thoughts behind professional architecture retouching and editing in Photoshop. This is a vital step in making sure your imagery is of the highest quality possible. To ignore it is to continue churning out average images into a sea of mediocrity. My main use for it is with exposure blending but here I use it just to precisely lift the shadows from the tree and also show up any dust spots in the image.
