Below is the video link : • • How to Speed up Windows 7 for FREE !! • Quick Walkthrough to Make your Windows Computer Faster : • Step 1: Disk Cleanup • Disk cleanup will remove all the temporary and unwanted data files from your computer. So which keeps your computer faster and healthy. • 1) Go to My Computer. • 2) Right click on C: (or the system drive) • 3) Select properties and goto general tab. • 4) There will be one option Disk Cleanup . Click on it. • 5) It will take a while, after which it will show you a new window. • 6) In new window check the files that you want to remove. And click ok. • Note: I have already run disk cleanup before making this video. Thats why the size of temp files shown in the video is lesser. • Step 2: Defragmentation • 1) Go to My Computer. • 2) Right click on C: (or the system drive) • 3) Select properties and goto tools tab. • 4) Click on defragmentation. • 5) A new window will appear, In which you can click on analyze disk first after that you can click on defragment the disk. • NOTE: This method is time taking. It may take 5-6 hours (depends on the data of your system drive) to complete. • If your computer is too Slow then I recommend you to use defragmentation . Your computer speed will surely increase after this method. • Step 3: Schedule your Disk Check • Your system Disk may contain several errors and loop holes. This disk check will remove all these hidden errors from your computer. • 1) Go to My Computer. • 2) Right click on C: (or the system drive) • 3) Select properties and goto tools tab. • 4) Click on check Now . • 5) Click on start and then click on schedule disk check • Note: This method doesn't run instantly. Windows automatically run disk checking during your system start up. • Step 4: Using msconfig • There may be multiple processes that are running during startup your system. Which will computer too slow. So by unchecking the unwanted process, we can make windows faster. • 1) Click on windows icon/ press windows key from your computer. • 2) In search box type msconfig (no spaces). msconfig is a system configuration file. • 3) In new windows click on startup Tab. • 4) uncheck the processes that you don't want to run during startup and click on apply. • 5) click OK.
