I’ve been getting a lot of questions about belly skin care, stretch marks, and what I used for my csection scar. • .. • And I’m so grateful for the mamas that told me to massage my csection scar as soon as possible. I didn’t even know that was a thing. But it’s true ! So I am beyond #grateful for you 🫶 • .. • Yes, I do have some stretch marks around my belly button area and some under my boobs but not much. I call them my Liam tiger stripes 🐅 hehe • .. • Skin care for your belly and scar are super important. • You don’t need crazy chemicals or creams. • Nature provides us with all we need. • We just have to know where to find it 🌱 • .. • What I used on my belly incision site / #csectionscar : • Shea butter • Sea buckthorn oil • Silicone patches • Spongilla Gel • .. • I made sure to oil massage the csection scar as soon as approximately 5-6 weeks post op. This allows the skin to stretch and gain elasticity so that the scar area won’t become tight or ridged, during healing. As well as, avoiding any keloids ! • .. • After every nightly shower, I would put a mixture of sheabutter and sea buckthorn oil on my belly, love handles, boobs, butt, thighs. • (Yes, sea buckthorn is orange 🍊, and gives your skin Oompa Loompa vibes lol 😂) • .. • Alternated spongilla silcone patches on my csection scar. • .. • There is no rush or anyone else’s timeline. Allow your body to take as long as it needs.
