Afrosoul Performs “uSemncane” Still Young

Afrosoul were formed in, Durban, in 2000, when original members Malishe, Thandeka Mkhize and Sabelo Ngema were part of the famous Mbongeni Ngema Academy; the three met at the KZN Music House and became friends. After band member Thandeka Mkhize decided to exit the group; their backing vocalist Thandeka Zulu rose to the occasion and became a full member. Thandeka Zulu is a talented vocalist, dancer and actress with an impressive resume. At the time she had worked with a group called Lindokuhle from the age of 8 years and had also been part of the Sarafina production in Magaliesburg. Later, her big break came when she was casted as one of the original cast members of popular SABC 1 soapie Uzalo, playing the character of Nombuso.
