Off Highway Van owner and automotive engineer, Aaron Pfadt, designed a custom lift kit which provides 3 more clearance to the RAM ProMaster. Lifting the front half of the vehicle includes adding spacers on top of the struts as well as careful consideration of geometrical variables like driveshaft angles, steering angles, etc. In the rear of the van we use a spindle plate to rotate the spindle downward relative to the axle, which produces 2.5 of clearance in the rear. This aggressive lift is designed to not only raise the vehicle but lift the solid rear axle itself, which results in well over 9 of rear axle clearance.
