Join this channel to get access to perks: • / @theartofconduitbending • In this second part of the Switchgear series I will give you some much needed information if you are ever going to work with Switchgear or Switchboards. First, I give you a brief explanation on how some gears are put together and how they function when it comes to power distribution. I give you a few pointers on how to open your switch doors when in the closed (Live) position in case you ever need to run some tests with your meter. Of course if you are not qualified you should never do this. Lastly, I educate you on the process of turning on your power meters that are on your switchgear to get it working properly. If you have ever worked on turning a power meter on in a switchgear you know it's not as simple as flipping a switch when your switchgear has current transformer installed on your Buss Bars.
