In mathematics, an algebraic expression is an expression built up from integer constants, variables, and the algebraic operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and exponentiation by an exponent that is a rational number). For example, 3x2 − 2xy + c is an algebraic expression. An algebraic expression is made up of following parts: • 1)Variables • 2)Coefficients • 3)Constants • 4)Exponents • VARIABLE: • A symbol or alphabet that represents a quantity in mathematics that is either arbitrary or unknown.Letter x,y,z are most commonly used for variables.A variable is basically a place holder. • COEFFICIENTS: • Part of algebraic expression by which a variable is multiplied.Example of coefficients in algebraic expression is given in the video. • CONSTANT: • Part of algebraic expression that do not change or remains constant.Example of constants in algebraic expression is given in the video. • EXPONENT: • The exponent of a number says how many times to use that number in a multiplication. It is written as a small number to the right and above the base number. In this example: 82 = 8 × 8 = 64. (The exponent 2 says to use the 8 two times in a multiplication.) • Example of exponent in algebraic expression is given in the video. • #AlgebraicExpression,#Variables,#CoefficientsinAlgebra,#ExponentsinAlgebra,#ConstantsinAlgebra,#MathDotCom • For more videos please subscribe our channel.... • πππππππ • β ππSubscribe : https://www.youtube.com/user/MathDotC...
