Would you eat ramen fried rice COVERED in mozz?! 🤯 • I saw this @nongshimusa Shin Ramyun hack floating around IG and thought I’d give it a try… and it’s super good! • It’s honestly a lot of cheese, and you definitely don’t need that much if you were to make it at home, but it looks SO awesome when you lift the ramen cup and the melted cheese drips down over the fried rice. • The fried rice has bits of the crushed ramen noodles mixed in, and the seasoning packet + Sriracha give it some added spice and flavor. • 👉 The full recipe is below, and be sure to let me know what you think if you give it a try! 🙌 • INGREDIENTS • 1 Shin Ramyun cup • 2 tbsp toasted sesame oil • 2 eggs • 1/2 cup of day old rice (if you don’t have day old rice, you can make fresh rice, line a baking pan with plastic wrap, and spread the rice over the top and leave out for an hour to dry out) • Sriracha (to taste) • 8 oz mozzarella • INSTRUCTIONS • 1️⃣ Tear the lid off the shin ramyun cup and remove the seasoning packet and the noodles. Put the noodles into a Ziploc bag and crush them. Then, pour them back into the cup and fill with hot water up to just below the top of the noodles. • 2️⃣ Chop 1-2 scallions, depending on how much you want. • 3️⃣ Pour the sesame oil into a large pan over medium heat, and then crack two eggs in. Mix the eggs just a bit, then pour the seasoning packet over them. • 4️⃣ Dump any excess water out of the ramen cup, then add the noodles into the pan. Mix the eggs and noodles together. • 5️⃣ Add your day old rice to the pan and mix together. • 6️⃣ Add Sriracha and scallions to taste. Mix everything together. • 7️⃣ Remove the pan from the heat. • 8️⃣ Melt the mozzarella in a microwave-safe bowl. It should take about 1:30 - 2 minutes. Then, pour the cheese into the ramen cup. Fill the rest of the way with the ramen fried rice, and pack it in using your spoon. • 9️⃣ Flip it over onto a plate, lift the cup off, and enjoy!
