Who likes Gyoza (potstickers)? I know I do, that’s why I decided to cut out the middle man and put my own spin on one of my favorite foods. Instead of filling the dough that you would normally fill with gyoza filling, I decided to make gyoza sausages to put on the grill. I haven’t seen this done before, and I am pretty happy with how it turned out. This would be a great recipe to make a big batch of, to leave in the fridge for some snacks. Although, I doubt they will last long once you try them! Check the recipe below. • Ingredients: • 1.5 cups cabbage (boiled for 2 minutes, cooled and minced) • 4 tbsp cornstarch • 5 tbsp soy sauce • 1.5lbs ground pork • 1 tbsp minced garlic • 8 pieces of green onion • Directions: • Combine all ingredients into bowl, and mix thoroughly with hands. Using a Kitchenaid sausage maker, fill the casings with the gyoza sausage blend, per the machine’s instructions. If you don’t have a sausage casing machine, you can make patties with the sausage blend and cook in a cast iron skillet. If you made the sausages, cook on a grill over medium-high heat for 16 minutes. • Serve with rice and some gyoza, teriyaki, or sweet sour dipping sauce. • • Facebook: www.Facebook.com/liftbigeatbigmedia • Twitter: www.Twitter.com/LiftBigEatBig • Instagram:LiftBigEatBig • Apparel: www.liftbigeatbig.spreadshirt.com • Our supps: http://bit.ly/1fQTqWI
