Join me for a walk around the seaside town centre of Hartlepool, or should I say West Hartlepool? Located on the North Sea coast in County Durham, what we know as Hartlepool today only came into existence in the last 200 years, originally known as 'West Hartlepool'. • On our walk around the town centre, we pass a number of interesting landmarks that tell us about the history of Hartlepool.
