This is a sample me calling CQ in SSB on 40m at 5W with a modified QCX transceiver,: the QCX-SSB. The signal is received from the Hack Green websdr about 400km away. Voice is sampled and processed by a 8-bits ATMEGA328P microcontroller; phase-information is sent in real-time over I2C to a SI5351 programmable clock-generator, the RF signal is amplified and PWM modulated with amplitude-information; the result is a SSB signal.
