The number of weekly dengue cases has exceeded 1,000 – this is the highest weekly number ever recorded in Singapore’s history. As we are now in the warmer months of June to October, the Aedes mosquito and Dengue virus will multiply faster, resulting in more infectious mosquitoes in the environment. • • NEA continues our intensive dengue control efforts with partners and stakeholders, but mosquito breeding in homes is still prevalent. Collective community effort is urgently required, and all of us need to do our part to break dengue transmission. Do the #MozzieWipeout to prevent mosquito breeding, spray aerosol insecticide in dark corners of your home to kill adult mosquitoes, and apply mosquito repellent to protect yourselves and your family members from mosquito bites. • • Find out more about how to fight dengue here: www.nea.gov.sg/stop-dengue • • #DenguePrevention
