Senator Dorinda Cox speaks in the Senate chamber about the Pathways to Politics for Women program at UWA. Her recognition of this vital initiative highlights the importance of empowering women in politics, and we're grateful to have her involvement as a member of the Advisory Committee for our WA program. Senator Cox's advocacy and support have been instrumental in inspiring and guiding the next generation of women leaders. • This program represents a crucial step toward creating more opportunities for women to enter and succeed in the political arena, and we're excited to see it acknowledged at the national level. • This national Pathways to Politics for Women program, run through the Centre for Public Value and the UWA Public Policy Institute at the University of Western Australia, is an initiative of the Trawalla Foundation, Women's Leadership Institute Australia and the University of Melbourne. This year's program at UWA would not have been possible without their support, as well as the support from the Minderoo Foundation who helped bring women from regional and remote WA to Perth to take part in the program. • If you're a woman eager to make a difference - whether in mental health, social justice, climate action, or beyond - we encourage you to keep your eye out for the 2025 program applications and join the next wave of political leaders. • Pathways to Politics for Women UWA Website: https://www.uwa.edu.au/schools/resear... • Pathways to Politics for Women National Website: • https://pathwaystopolitics.org.au/ • Trawalla Foundation Website: • https://www.trawallafoundation.com.au/ • Women's Leadership Institute Australia Website: • https://wlia.org.au/ • Minderoo Foundation Website: • https://www.minderoo.org/ • Centre for Public Value Website: • https://www.uwa.edu.au/schools/resear... • Centre for Public Value LinkedIn: • https://www.linkedin.com/company/uwa-...
