I have received a number of requests to review Yamaha's Signature line of trombone mouthpieces; I don't often have them in the shop but thanks to viewer Matt Henson we have several that I will be working on reviewing! First up, the Nils Landgren small shank Signature! I often find that signature commercial mouthpieces tend to be on the small size; however with the Landgren piece coming in at 25.11mm with a balanced-depth cup it feels very approachable for a range of playing settings and has a great stability, plus a lot more!
