Ikea Fan Oven Element Replacement

In this video, I replace the fan element in an Ikea oven that is about 7 or 8 years old. This is a relatively easy job but I did run into some problems. • The age and use of the oven will determine just how easy the job will be. This oven is heavily used and as a result, the screws were rusted in and were very difficult to remove. • If you are replacing the fan element for the first time it may be a good idea to test the screws holding the housing (with the power off) to make sure they will release easily. • This video is relevant for most types of fan oven and should be useful, especially if your oven is older than a couple of years. The only difference would be the parts. Some elements are 1900W like this one, others are more. You have to make sure that you order the appropriate part before you start.
