Rainier National Park, offers 173 campsites equipped with drinking water, flush toilets, and picnic tables, making it a comfortable yet rustic option. Reservations are recommended due to the park's popularity. Surrounded by dense forests and close to the Nisqually River, the campground provides a peaceful retreat with stunning views of Mt. Rainier, an active volcano. Hiking opportunities abound, with the famous Wonderland Trail accessible for experienced hikers, and the Paradise area nearby offers vibrant wildflower fields in summer. • The campground features an amphitheater for interpretive programs, standard and RV non-hookup sites, and is open from May to October with a 14-day stay limit. Pets are welcome but must be leashed, and firewood gathering is prohibited. Note that there are no electric, water, or sewer hookups, and larger motor homes or trailers aren't permitted.
