The Kremlin Wall Necropolis

This is a graveyard that is in the shadow of the mighty Kremlin. Red Guardsmen were interred here during the Battle of Moscow in November 1917. This is hallowed ground since communist doyens have their eternal repose on this spot. Burial in the Kremlin Wall Necropolis was the highest accolade that could be bestowed on a Soviet citizen.
