Champion the dog was rescued after he was found with 50 other animals in an alleged hoarder's home. After being taken to the Helen Woodward Animal Center in California, he was named after a similar canine with special needs on the show Parks and Recreation. An X-ray showed Champion's leg was broken in two places. He was also underweight and walking with a limp. After having his leg removed, Champion is loving life!
