We had just put the finishing touches on our collaborative premiere Consequences , which used the Surrealist exquisite corpse drawing game as its framework, before having to postpone our home season TRIPLE TAKE. But we wondered how we could extend the concept to our at-home creations while we shelter in place. Inspired by the amazing videos by Mitchell Rose Films (which have also sparked a few other awesome dance films recently), here is our version of Consequences at Home. Each RAWdance collaborator was given the final moves of the dancer prior to use as their starting position for their new creative contribution in order to generate this new expression of an exquisite corpse. It's been a real honor to navigate these challenging times with these beautiful dancers, and continue to work together from afar.
