New 2022 Suzuki SCross Compact Crossover SUV

Japanese automaker Suzuki recently unveiled the 2022 version of its popular car S-Cross with an announcement that the vehicle will first arrive in Europe before making a global debut in the upcoming months. The model has now started arriving in Suzuki dealerships in Europe bearing the brand name ‘SX4 S-Cross’. The new S-Cross sports completely fresh design dynamics and has a SUV-like body unlike its predecessor that had low slung roofline and cross over styling. The dimension, however, has been left unchanged. The new S-Cross measures the same 4300 mm in length, 1785 mm in width, 1585 mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2600 mm. • • The design of the new-gen S-Cross has been completely revamped. At the front, we see a pair of sleek headlamps and a large grille. The side profile looks boxier than before, with thicker plastic cladding adding more muscle to the design. At the rear, it gets a pair of quirky-looking LED taillights. The bumpers on both ends get faux bash plates, and fake roof rails are also present here. The new S-Cross looks more SUV-ish compared to the low-slung previous-gen model. • The new S-CROSS HYBRID is muscular on the outside and elegant on the inside, combining the spirit of adventure with all the comfort to face it. The large windows, including the panoramic roof, guarantee a unique perception of space. The seats, with seat and back sides in leather, offer a fabric-effect finish in the central part, underlining the off-road character of the car. The dashboard design is bold and modern. The instrument panel has a broad and highly three-dimensional profile. The spacious 9 ”touchscreen in the center of the dashboard guarantees wireless smartphone connectivity and integrates all the information on the vehicle. At the center of the central tunnel dominates the presence of the 4x4 ALLGRIP system selector. • The spacious cabin comfortably accommodates 5 adults while the 430-liter boot capacity offers ample versatility for any outdoor activity. The panoramic sunroof and the finely curated interiors enhance the driving experience even more. • The new S-CROSS HYBRID is available in eight colors to suit a wide variety of customers. Metallic colors include new Oslo Gray, Dubai Black, Grand Canyon Orange, Arctic White, Seville Red, Capri Blue and New York Silver. They are flanked by Santorini White, with a pastel finish. • Suzuki S-Cross comes powered by a 1.4-litre, four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine with an integrated mild-hybrid system. This motor, which also does duty on the Suzuki Swift, develops a maximum power output of 125 bhp and a peak torque of 235 Nm. Gearbox options include a six-speed torque-converter automatic unit and a six-speed manual gearbox.
