So import a texture that you can use for a floor and precompose it. • Go into the composition and make it a 3D layer. Go to rotation and set x rotation to 90 degrees. • Then lower the position of the floor to the bottom of your project. You can also use the motion tile effect to expand your floor layer. • Back in your main composition turn off the floor. Then duplicate the graphics you want to reflect on your floor. Be sure to go to layer – transform – flip vertical. • Then position your graphics underneath the original graphics. • Lastly, create an adjustment layer and place it between your media. Then add the Compound blur effect. Set the blur layer to your floor and increase the maximum blur. • And that’s how to do floor reflections in After Effects.
