Dollywood's Thunderhead / Walking the lift hill • Today we get have a rare opportunity of walking up a lift hill of a a roller coaster. But not just any roller coaster. We get to walk up to the top of THUNDERHEAD at Dollywood. This is part of Dollywood's Thrills in the Hills event and man was it fun!!! This is the first time I have ever been able to walk to the top of any roller coaster and just enjoy the view. We were met at the top by Dollywood's Pete Owens who gave us a lot of great info about Thunderhead. Be sure to watch the entire video as there is a lot of great info.
