Secretory tissue \\ that type of tissue which secrete chemical as gums, latex, resin, mucilage, nector and volatile oil. • some sec tissue are external and some are embedded in internal plant body as in others tissue. cells of sec tissue usually contain numerous mitochondria (power house). some of substance which secrete through sec tissue are not further utilized by plants ( resin, rubber, tannins and so on) but which some other take part in plant function (enzymes and hormones). • #Botany zoom
