I am reacting to a video that I saw a lot of people leave negative comments on. As someone who has been a member of a 12 step recovery program for over 8 years I think it is important that we understand how newcomers may view the program. By understanding their impressions we can work to be more welcoming. This video is meant to help bridge the gap between those in long term recovery and those just trying out NA. • I also want to say how brave I think this girl is for openly sharing her opinion. She got way more negativity in her comment section than she should have. The best way we attract people to programs like NA is listening to what newcomers have to say without judgement.
