In this video, we look at two examples to highlight every other weekend date with Conditional Formatting. • To do this we need to identify which day of the week a specific date is, and which week number is it. • We can then target the dates that are a Saturday or Sunday, and those with an even week number (every other week). • The first example highlights every other week from the beginning of the calendar year. The second example starts from a specified date such as the start date of a project. • We build the formulas up in a cell and then copy them into the Conditional Formatting rule. • Here are the timings of the video. • 00:00 - Introduction • 00:22 - Explanation of our plan • 01:46 - WEEKDAY function to return day of week • 03:15 - WEEKNUM and ISEVEN to identify even weekends • 04:50 - AND function to combine the logic • 05:46 - Highlight weekend dates (every other from year start) • 06:50 - Highlight alternate weekend dates from a certain date • Find more great free tutorials at; • https://www.computergaga.com • ** Online Excel Courses ** • The Ultimate Excel Course – Learn Everything ► https://bit.ly/UltimateExcel • Excel VBA for Beginners ► http://bit.ly/2JvnnRv • Advanced Excel Tricks ► https://bit.ly/3CGCm3M • Excel Formulas Made Easy ► http://bit.ly/2t3netw • Creating Sports League Tables and Tournaments in Excel ► http://bit.ly/2viGg3J • Connect with us! • LinkedIn ►   / 18737946   • Instagram ►   / computergaga1   • Twitter ►   / computergaga1
