TLR (tonic labyrinthine reflex: Superman Exercise • Emerges at birth and may have a weak presence up to 3 – 3 ½ years. In infants it is integrated by 2-3 months in the prone position and 2-4 months in the supine position. This prepares the baby for movements including rolling over, crawling on all fours, standing and walking. • Superman • Lying on the tummy with arms overhead, lift up arms, legs and head while holding for 10sec for 5 reps. Can also have them reach out to grab a toy and cross the midline to grab something.
