In the same way you notice nothing strange when you look yourself in the mirror, it's difficult to notice a video has a mirror effect. • Any text appear in the video (e.g logos, captions, letter or books) however will immediately confirm whether the video is mirrored. This is because the text will appear upside down unlike a picture whose elements merely appear on the opposite sides when reflected. • MPC corrects this by flipping horizontally the video thus undoing the mirror effect. You however have to make sure the renderer being used by MPC supports rotation for this to work. Check that by going to Options (O) then select the Output settings under the Playback section. • The following renderers support rotation: • Enhanced Video Renderer (custom presenter) • Sync Renderer • Video Mixing Renderer 9 (renderless) • Other popular video players can also do this include: • VLC: • How to Flip Mirrored Videos with VLC • PotPlayer: • How to Flip Mirrored Videos with PotP... • Gom Player: • How to Flip Mirrored Videos with GOM ... • If you enjoyed this video, don't forget to subscribe to get more tips in the future and keep this channel alive.
