Piece: Sonatine for piano (1903-05) by French composer Maurice Ravel (1875-1937) - complete in 3 movements: • I: Modéré - 0:00 -- II: Mouvement de Menuet - 4:39 -- III. Animé - 8:05 (watch out, this movement is louder than the previous two!) • Pianist: Pascal Rogé (in my opinion, the finest performer of Ravel's works, or at least tied for the best!) • Album: Ravel: Piano Works (Klavierwerke), 2 CDs, released 1994 - performance from 1974-75) • Label: The Decca Record Company, Ltd. - London, England • An excellent piece from one of my favorite CDs in my entire collection. It is well worth the price to purchase this album, as it is 2 discs and usually in the 14-17 dollar range.
