The hulking Milano Bridge, a 1,200-foot-long container ship, caused a great deal of damage as it attempted to dock at the port of Busan, South Korea. • The ship approached a pier with the help of a pair of tugboats, but for reasons so far unknown, its huge stern careered into the towering cranes on the dock, causing one of them to collapse on top of it. • The Milano Bridge also impacted another ship docked further down the pier, the Seaspan Ganges.
