Their mutton sali boti was soft and flavorful, though served cold, capturing the essence of comfort food. • Next, I visited the legendary Britannia Co., a true time capsule. The famous berry pulao had a subtle flavor, and the berries added a nice balance—not overly sweet, as I’d expected. • I also tried their chicken dhansak, where the herbaceous lentils stood out, though the chicken was disappointingly dry. To make up for it, I indulged in their creamy, velvety caramel custard, which was absolutely divine. • Finally, I stopped by Jimmy Boy to sip on their refreshing raspberry soda, a not-too-sweet drink that hit the spot.
