Practice🎻 Dounis Daily Dozen Third Exercise shorts

This is from a practice session of the third exercise of 'Daily Dozen' by Constantine Dounis. The focus here is to combine vertical and horizontal motion of the left hand fingers while maintaining a good left hand frame. Lift and drop the fingers with energy, but with lightness. Never strain to reach up with the fourth finger - go up only by a half step if needed; that's what I do! Bring the weight distribution toward the upper fingers to strengthen the pinky. Focusing on bow distribution and even tone helps the left hand relax. Dounis works are a lifetime and beyond worth of work.
