A #telluric planet or solid planet is a rocky planet just like Earth. The telluric planets of the Solar System are Mercury, Venus, Earth and #Mars. They are closer to the #Sun and therefore are located in the inner Solar System and have a higher density than the gaseous planets. This planetary relationship has to do with the formation of the Solar System, where denser materials tend to concentrate closer to the Sun and lighter materials further away from the Sun. Its internal composition is basically rocks (silicates), iron and other heavy metals.
