This quick and easy video tutorial demonstrates how to use a traditional square quilting ruler to trim flying geese. These flying geese are made slightly oversized, then trimmed down to the desired measurement. You'll need a square ruler with a 45 degree line, a rotary cutter, a cutting mat and your oversized flying geese unit. • These flying geese are used to create my Nightingale quilt pattern, which can be found in my shop after November 18th, 2020. • Lo Behold Stitchery Digital quilt patterns: https://www.loandbeholdstitchery.com/... • Lo Behold Stitchery Paper quilt patterns: https://www.loandbeholdstitchery.com/... • SUPPLIES: • Omnigrid square ruler: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000YZ8SJ6/... • Rotating cutting mat: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000YZ7TSC/... • Rotary cutter: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B005573ZO6/... • My Favorite Quilting Supplies on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/shop/loandbeho... • SOCIAL MEDIA: • Instagram: / loandbeholdstitchery • Facebook: / loandbeholdstitchery • You-Tube: / @lobeholdstitchery9373 • Pinterest: / _created
