Hurricane Floyd was a powerful and destructive major hurricane that struck the Bahamas and mainly in particular the East Coast of the United States. Causing extensive damage, Floyd would cause impacts to states such as Florida, the Carolina’s, many Mid-Atlantic States, the Northeast, and New England making 2 landfalls in North Carolina and New York City.
