Yeelight Color Bulb - Unbox and Setup • The Yeelight Smart Light Bulb, E27 (Color) is one of the newer lighting products from Xiaomi. I managed to get one of these bulbs from GearBest.com. Those folks were nice enough to send me a Yeelight to unbox, get set up, and review: https://www.gearbest.com/smart-lighti... • This is an approximate $30 CAD smart bulb, which is much lower than most of the smart LED color bulbs on the market today, so it's interesting to see this functionality come together with this price. • The Yeelight color bulb shows great colors and functionality when it's all set up. I especially love the flow capability that the bulb has to run through 4 different color lights sequentially, forever. I also found the scheduling and timer functions to be high-quality and very helpful for all of us adding these to our smart homes. • The one issue I seemed to have time and time again was with an iOS device or iPhone. The app struggled at times, including during initial setup and using the scheduling capability. Android devices worked perfectly, however. Again, I loved the functionality of the application. • All in all, this is a great device and I'm really looking forward to adding additional Yeelights to my home. I'll use my new Mi account (Xiaomi's service), and I'll add all kinds of smart home products as soon as I can.
