Two southern locos, one British and one American, steam by on the main line. BR No. 35022 'Holland America Line', a Southern Railways Merchant Navy Class, pulls a rake of five crimson and cream coaches. Southern Pacific GS-4 No. 4449 'Daylight' pulls a rake of eight maroon BR Mark I coaches.
