Easy McGard Lexus Toyota Wheel Lock Removal

How to remove a McGard / Lexus / Toyota wheel lock when you can’t find the the key. • Tools needed: 1/2 drive breaker bar, 1/2 drive 19mm 12point socket, large hammer. • Parts needed: lug nut(s) to replace wheel lock(s). • Scenario: • Twice now my wife's car has been serviced and the mechanic has forgotten to put the wheel lock key back in our car. A big part of this problem is that it's usually many months later that anyone realizes the key is missing. The first time this happened to us my wife had a flat tire on the way home from work and called me for help. When I tried to replace the flat with the spare I realized the key was missing. Sadly at the time I didn't know the trick in this video and we had to have the car towed to a dealership where it sat overnight. After that we thought we checked for the key religiously after service but apparently not because it happened again. Fortunately this time the car was at home and I had time to research and correct the problem myself. Now I'm sharing what I learned with you.
