We will then ask him for his requirements on every single item on this gun - the barrel length, the chokes, the stock dimension, the triggers, the weights, the balances - that he requires. • 5. What''s unusual about this gun is the game scene engraving on both sides, which takes a long time to engrave and is also very expensive. • 13. Various details of shotgun engraving • 14. If you ordered these guns now, it would be significantly more, because of the overheads, etc, etc., so it''s about 200-thousand pounds (USD 325,000). • 16. Various details of engraving, UPSOUND, John Corry, James Purdey Sons: • This is a bespoke engraving, chosen by the client and it has then been created by our engraver. So, here we have two cock pheasants, which is fairly standard really when it comes to a game scene. Some clients may have their own dogs, or their wives, or their houses.
