In this video, we show you • Everything About Blue Gourami • Life span: 4 to 5 years • Size: up to 6 inches • Male and female Gourami: the male has pointed dorsal fin and female has more rounded dorsal fin • They have a special organ called Labyrinth, by which they can breathe directly from the air. • Tank size: A 20-gallon aquarium or larger is recommended for most species • Water Parameters : • Appropriate Temp would be ranging from 750F-800F (230C) • pH should be between 6.8, • 7.8 and alkalinity between 3° and 8° dkH (50 ppm to 140 ppm) • Filteration : HOB or sponge filter is ideal because these fish prefer low water movement. • Decorations: Gouramies usually are quite shy fish so you can use few Artificial/Live plants in the aquarium for it to hide. Driftwood and rock can be used in the aquarium as well. • Diet: These fish are omnivores so they will eat almost any food. An appropriate diet for the dwarf gourami would be tropical flakes or bloodworms.
