Whoopie Slings are a great innovation. Here we talk Whoopie Sling Installation! Whoopie Slings while being able to handle great amounts of weight (With 7/64 Amsteel Blue handling upwards of 1600 pounds). So changing out standard suspensions that come with the likes of ENO hammocks, Grand Trunk hammocks, Hammock Bliss hammocks, Kammok hammocks, etc. is a common theme among avid hammockers. In this video, I take a whoopie sling purchased from Jacks 'R' Better (You can get them from whoopieslings.com, dutchwaregear.com, Arrowhead Equipment, Infinity Outfitters, DD Hammocks, Simply Light Designs and many other companies) and outfit/install a standard Kammok Roo hammock. Installation of a whoopie sling is straight forward. First you have to take off the current parts on the hammock your have, usually meaning untying it and pulling it through the channel, but before doing so loop the whoopie sling through the current rope and then pull it though so as to bring the whoopie sling through the channel without any difficulty. Then you want to bring the end with the bead on it through the channel one more time, so you have a a little extra rope coverage in the channel. You do not have to do this though. After that then pass the end with the bead on it through the loop and tighten. You now can use the whoopie sling. Many people move to whoopie slings due to how much loss in weight you get, but for me it was the precise adjustment you can do with the whoopie sling compared to bulky and cumbersome suspensions that come with most slings from the factory. • Here is one place to get a pair of Whoopie Slings: • https://www.amazon.com/dp/B009QPFRIK/... • www.facebook.com/CaptainBerzFanPage • www.twitter.com/CaptainBerz • www.captainberz.com
