This is the iPad Pro 4. Now with the latest M2 chip, same from current MacBook Pro and MacBook Air. This brings incredible power to the iPad. The new iPad Pro also adds a new hover feature for the Apple Pencil, cant wait to test. I will be switching from my iPad Air 5 to the new iPad Pro 4 to see if it’s worth the upgrade. I got the 11”, Space Grey, 128GB, price $799 / £899. Also comes in larger 12.9” size. Up to 2TB of storage. Cellular model also available. What’s new? Pretty small update from the previous iPad Pro with M1. Now get the latest M2 chip, same from current MacBook Pro and MacBook Air. Desktop power to the iPad. Can be a computer replacement for some. For me it is more a second computer, a device I use alongside my Mac and bring to travel. The new iPad Pro also adds a new hover feature for the Apple Pencil - 12mm above display. Great for drawing apps to preview brush size and colour before drawing. Same good looking squared off design with thin bezels, thinner than iPad Air and iPad 10 also just unboxed. I like the design but would have loved to see the landscape camera position from iPad 10 on new iPad Pro - makes more sense • Also would love to see MagSafe brought to the iPad. Same great all-day battery life. Excellent 120 hz display, big upgrade compared to 60 hz iPad Air. Performance to last for years! Worth upgrading from iPad Pro 4? Nope. 95% of people don’t upgrade their phone every year, 99% don’t update their tablet every year - you shouldn’t. Most update every 3,4,5 years. In which case the iPad Pro 4 with M2 offers a substantial upgrade, modern design, incredible display, performance that will last for years and years to come. If you want to use an iPad as a secondary or even primary computer, the Pro is the one to get! Cant wait to start using and testing the iPad Pro 4 for my full review.
