A complete semi realism digital painting process with explanation focused on shading. We will cover a basic shading with only 2 colours using common brushes, then going into different layer blending options which are really important for new digital artist. • I think playing around with layers blending type like Multiply, Overlay, and Hard Light layers, are more important than painting for beginners. They need to know all digital tools here, which will really help the process later. So beginners will not stuck with one way of drawing normally. I saw lot of new artist not using any digital tools here o.o • I'm drawing a front portrait so most beginners will able to follow. It's more to general rule when drawing this. The lighting is also really common for shading face, I think almost all other tutorials also use similar lighting.
