The ominous tone of a fatigued spire looming in the distance, intricate ornamentation embellishing a pissing statue, squealing mahogany tempting collapse, and beauty that somehow bursts through the dark gradients of time immemorial. • We left those ages in the gutters we retort. • Perhaps; but their memory lurks timelessly on the coastline of our subconscious, beckoning our attention, and tempts the architect to try its features once more. Whether classed as Gnostics, extremists, nobles, or an impoverished people at the time, the Victorians had a pretty damn good grip on unique architecture. • To some, this style of construction does not have to fill the prerequisites of memory. For others, it perhaps instills confusion and raised brows. It matters not, for they still have their rightful place among the innovation of bygone ages.
